Option 1 - Refer a Friend

Option 2 - Write a Google Review

HOW TO POST A GOOGLE REVIEW There are a couple of ways to post a review. You will need to be logged into Google to leave a review.

OPTION 1: Do a normal Google search for the business in question (don’t go to their actual website, just search for the business name). If you are doing a Google search, the business will appear in a panel on the right hand side of the screen. In that panel you will see a ‘Write a Review’ button. If you don’t see this right hand panel or the ‘Write a Review’ button then move to Option 2 below.

OPTION 2: The recommended way to leave a Google Review is to open Google Maps, search for the business in Google Maps and then follow the steps below:

  • STEP 1: Visit https://www.google.co.uk/maps and click the ‘Sign In’ button on the top right hand corner. You’ll need to use your Google Mail account details to sign in or create a account.

  • STEP 2: Once you’ve signed in, enter the place or company you would like to review in the top left corner where it says ‘Search Google Maps’. For example in our case that would be Wells Chiropractic and Osteopathy Centre.

  • STEP 3: The company or place will appear on the left hand side of the screen. Scroll down to the ‘Review Summary’ section and click ‘Write a Review’. STEP 4: A window will now appear on your screen, click the star rating you would like to give the place/company (out of 5 stars) and ideally then write a short review (see the next page for some helpful tips).

Remember your reviews are public, so anyone can see what you have written.

Here are a few tips on how to write a good review. A review could be anything from 10 words to 200 words in some cases.

BE INFORMATIVE AND INSIGHTFUL Be specific and relevant to the place you’re reviewing, and describe what other visitors are likely to experience. Highlight what makes the place or the experience special, and try to share something novel and new. Try to be as accurate as possible, describe your experience. Be creative and have fun!

WHY GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE IMPORTANT Google Reviews are becoming increasingly important to small businesses, particularly local ones, for several reasons. Not only does it give the business itself valuable feedback regarding your experience with them but they are also helpful for prospective customers who may be contemplating using that business in the future.

Option 3 - Write a Facebook review

Follow the steps below to write a Facebook review.

1. Visit Page

Visit the Facebook Page that you wish to write a review for i.e. Wells Chiropractic and Osteopathy Centre.

2. Click On The Stars

You will see a star rating under the Cover Image on the left hand side of the Page Timeline. Click on the stars to be taken through to the Review Page.

3. Select the “Write A Review” Button

Select the “Write A Review” button on the right hand side of the Page.

3. Write A Review

Write your review and allocate an appropriate star rating. Make sure you leave the audience as “Public” so that it can be seen by everyone that visits the Page. If you only want your review visible to friends, then select “Friends” as the audience.

4. Press Submit

Your review will then go live on the Facebook Page and your review will be visible as per the audience you selected. Your star rating will only be included within the prize draw if you shared it publicly.

Easy Peasy!

GOOD LUCK!!
